INTERMEDIATE RIDER LICENSING COURSE (2 DAYS)
TAKE YOUR RIDING TO THE NEXT LEVEL
Because the more you know about the road, the more it has to offer. There is a better rider in all of us - no matter how long you've been riding. It's time to get more out of the road, more out of the ride and more out of yourself.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Motorcycle Safety Foundation has updated their curriculum to maximize student’s time on the bikes. With the newly designed curriculum, a 3-hour online eCourse is REQUIRED and must be completed from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s website. The ecourse allows for a self-paced, relaxed learning environment from home. The cost of the eCourse is included in the price of the class. The eCourse must be completed within the window of 30 days prior to your first class date. Once completed, please print a certificate and bring it to your first class. If you do not have a printer, please email your certificate the Riding Academy manager prior to class. You will NOT be allowed to take the class without this certificate.
When you take an Intermediate Rider Licensing here you’ll:
- Be taking a course created for experienced Riders looking to receive a Motorcycle Endorsement
- Be in a class of students at your skill level (no learning how to shift)
- Take the course on your own personal motorcycle
- Get in class and on range instruction from a Motorcycle Safety Foundation® (MSF) and H-D® Certified Coaches
- Earn a MSF Basic RiderCourseSM 2 Completion Card, in 2 days instead of 3, which will allow Texas DPS to add a motorcycle endorsement to your Texas driver license. This completion card can also result in a discount for your motorcycle insurance
This class is only for the experienced rider who may have allowed their original motorcycle endorsement to expire, or they never obtained a motorcycle license endorsement, but have extensive recent riding experience. The first riding exercise is a pre-qualification evaluation of your riding skill. If you cannot successfully ride this exercise, you will not be allowed to continue in this class.
